Empty Handed!!

Hello everyone,

It is with great sadness that we have to announce that when Crystal went to the hospital today, that the social worker met with her and told her that the birthparents had changed their mind on the adoption. She talked with the social worker and asked her if there was anything that could be done since they had already signed the papers and they told us no. So at this time we are sadly packing and heading back to Alabama tonight without Crimsyn, and should arrive in Huntsville tuesday afternoon. Please keep us in your prayers. We truly thank you for all your prayers in this "Our Adoption Journey" THE END

Michael

  1. The prayers continue - because your "journey" as parents continues - and because we love you all. We shed different tears for you tonight.

  2. Slick and Crystal,

There are no words......except that His love is still just as real now, if not more so, than 2 days ago. Empty arms are the most forsaken, devastating feeling known to parents. But, we can tell you with confidence, that the Lord CAN and WILL comfort you when no one else can. Know that to have a rainbow, you have to endure the rain. Just when you think the rain won't stop, the sun will shine and the rainbow will appear.

Praying for sun, rainbows, and comfort that only God can bring. Unfortunately we've walked a road too much like this one.........it's not a joyous journey, but know there are those of us ahead of you to prove that the path is not untrod, and we're not on this path alone.

We love you and are praying!

    Stephanie and Stewart

  10. First of all I want to say how much I love you Slick & Crystal, words at this time are so hard to find but as I sit here this morning I can't help but think back on Cassie's words of prayer for Crimsyn in the beginning"...for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him." & once again I am still finding that statement true.. your in my thoughts and prayers not only 2day but throughout this hard time. I love you guys!
